Fierce Industries Delivers the First ReefSweeper in Bermuda

Setting the Stage

In October 2025, the Fierce Industries team traveled to Bermuda to meet the first commercial delivery of the Reef Sweeper - Our first production IUV (Intelligent Underwater Vehicle) built on the F1 Platform, powered by our proprietary software System, Horizon ROS, and bespoke AI system for Lionfish culling, ALFREDD.

The Importance of This Mission

This Bermuda deployment marked a major proof-of-performance moment for Fierce Industries. It confirmed that our integrated platform, mechanical, electrical, optical, and computational systems can operate effectively in complex, uncontrolled ocean environments.

We proved that AI-assisted lionfish removal is not just a concept, but a viable, field-ready technology capable of protecting fragile reef ecosystems. The Reef Sweeper’s combination of precision hardware and ALFREDD’s intelligent targeting represents a first step toward scalable, autonomous reef restoration.
